i jus bought a house an the guy left a engine lift in the garage... its jus about brand new...it extends out an everything... anyone ever tried hangin a deer with one of these.or seen one hung using one of these.. i think it will go plenty high enough..(for the size of deer around here)... should work right? lol.... ???

We use at the farm all the time if you are talking the " one arm bandit " on four wheels. Our'shas a 2 ton capacity and no deer is too big for it. Love it for skinning as you can adjust the height of the deer as you go. We rig it up with a swivel.

yeah its got 4 wheels an 2 ton compacity.what do u mean by rigin it up with a swivel?

just make sure the hook that the engine,( or deer ), hangs from swivels. It will make it much easier to turn the carcass when needed.

For anyone interested.......

I "think" Cabela's sells the smaller versions of these for under $100 (about $79, I think). These have the push-button "up/down".

As long as your truss/beam/etc... can carry the additional load of the hoist and the deer.....I think it's a good idea for a LOT of people. I've thought about one, as well. I have the perfect spot for one under a covered garage.
