I suck. Arrows last me forever, and I may replace a nock ever-so-often.

Speaking of new carbons, I have shot GT XT Hunters for a few years. Is there maybe a better choice out there and if so why?

markj,

I have the XT hunters and like them a lot. Seem to shoot just as good as the Pro series. And while the picture may look cool that's why I use nock pins and pin nocks on my GT's. The arrows glance off the end of the shaft instead of breaking the arrow and the worse you have to do is replace a nock and maybe a little ding on the aluminum. The $15 I spent on the nock pins and pin nocks has saved me about $60 in arrows in 2 weeks.

The second shot was not needed, ya did him in with the first one . Great shootin'. When it hit did you hear that cash register "cha-ching" sound.
