i wish im stuck with cracker deer for now. Maybe someday ill be able to cough up the dough to get all the way to the pacific for a blacktail trip, idk why but they look really sweet to me and id love to get a decent sized one for a shoulder mount beside my 8 point lol.

no I havent done any scouting yet, I did apply for an X1 tag again this year.. if I get it ill be scouting over around medicine lake area.. some good bucks up that way..

i don't apply for the draws in Ca...just wouldn't have the time or funds to scout it and hunt it the way it should be done...so i stick with my usual spots and do exploring in those areas....i know there are lots of hunters in d5 at ice house or union valley....but if you get off of the roads and use some topo maps you can find some monsters...they are there.....for b zone it is just a family tradition...grandpa has been hunting that spot for 40+ years and there are some nice bucks up there too...
