There are a few around here but not many.

From what I understand about blackies,that is one heck of a deer.

Good job and that little one is a looker too.Look out for the males.

yes.. blacktail are not all that big.. this one was a nice one indeed... it is my biggest to date...

this guy used to hang out at my old house..

Hey Cd where ya from?
I hunt them in oregon and i wouldnt call them small we had a guy near us take out a 250 pounder!
I found about a 275 pounder i am planning on getting it if i have to spend every evening in my stand!

hey there bullet im from northern california.. about 45 minutes from medford oregon... around here the blackies arent much over 160lbs..[:@] I would love to get a 250 or better

Cdfirefighter, you must have some serious control, there is no way that if a deer like that was running around my house i would be able to stand it.

ya it was hard to not shoot them... there were 3 of em hanging around the yard.. 1 was about same size and 1 was just a tad smaller.. nice bucks all 3 though..
