Pictures From On Stand

I understand the concept of the arrow holder on the shelf which does not necessary have to line up with anything. I guess what throughs me is that the arrow in the particular picture that I was commenting on looks to be lined up in the groove of the arrow rest. I understand that the arrow rest will move vertically upward during the draw cycle. What I didn't know was that it will also move horizontally.
In the past I have used a Golden Key Premier Drop away which only really moved vertically. It also locked in the up position, so there was really no arrow travel in the drawing cycle.

The rest does not "shift" The arrow does.

From looking at the picture that I commented on, letsassume that the arrow is in the groove of the arrow rest as it sets now and the arrow will only go straight up during the draw cycle. Do you thinkthe arrowwill come straight off the bow? Or do you think that the front tip will be somewhat pointed to the left. Lets not think about POI.
The rest does not "shift" The arrow does.
Ok I think we have spent enough time on this, LOl, well at least me.

Wow.
You know, I honestly couldn't tell you now, Bob.
All I know is that the next day I arrowed my buck and recovered him.
Its possible that it may have been off a bit, but I honestly can't say at this point.
