I understand the concept of the arrow holder on the shelf which does not necessary have to line up with anything. I guess what throughs me is that the arrow in the particular picture that I was commenting on looks to be lined up in the groove of the arrow rest. I understand that the arrow rest will move vertically upward during the draw cycle. What I didn't know was that it will also move horizontally.
In the past I have used a Golden Key Premier Drop away which only really moved vertically. It also locked in the up position, so there was really no arrow travel in the drawing cycle.
The rest does not "shift" The arrow does.
