Default Fitz (sp?) Fibers, anyone???

While coming out of the woods a couple of weeks ago.....I caught my sight on a vine and tore my fibers from my Viper sight. I contacted Fitz about fixing this sight and also adding their fibers to my Hunter Hogg it (SH).

$75 for the two. I'm OK with that price.....but I was wondering if any of you had used them for similar repairs/upgrades.

Thanks, in advance, for your replies.

I ahven't used them However, I'cve see nother people on here take off their perfectly good original fibers and replace with Fitz. So, they must be pretty good. That price is crazy though. They should be able to just send you a fiber and you replace yourself.

I have no links with them personally, however APAJaws has them and I have seen them personally. You can literally tie the stuff in a knot and it won't break, plus the fibers are coated with some sort of thick plastic up until the point where they thread into your actual pin so they are VERY well protected. I am not really into super bright fiber on my 3D sights, and my hunting sight has protected wrapped fiber from the factory so I don't need it, however if I had a sight that needed fiber replacing with long fibers this is what I would use without a doubt.

I've got Fitz fibers on my Hogg-It... I doubt you'll need to order two different sets for both sights. One set in three different colors would be plenty to do both sights, I would say. I wrapped something like a foot and a half around my mounting bracket and still had like a foot left over, I think?

My hogg it is a 5 pin sight with all .019 pins. The Viper is a 4 pin with top pins (2) .019 and bottom pins (2) .010.

$29.99 for each set.....OR...they'll do them for me for $75.

I'm thinking I'll let them do it for the diff.
