Impact Archery makes a 6" extension that should do the job.

MD: I bought one for my Impact jumbo and it will do the job and look great too.

I know this post is intended for those who upgrade their current setup. I usually get a new bow every 5-6years. This year will be the first time I purchase I high-end bow from one of the top companies. I usually spent around $400 for a bow, now I'm ready to spend $700-800 on just the bow.

I never shot a "drop away rest". I plan on purchasing a limbdriver. Until a year ago, I never heard of a sts a similar device, one will be on my new bow. Also I plan on shooting blazers for the first time this year.

5 years isn't that long, but boy in the bowhunting world, it is like an eternity.

Greg, trying to convince anyone to upgrade their stuff is tough, specifically when what they have works. I will offer these two things since you're looking at them already. First off, the ST's are awesome and I would definitely give them a shot...you won't understand until you try them. Second, for the releaselook at something like a short 'n sweet. Personally I like it just becuase you don't ever have to take your eyes off the animal to hook your release on the string and it doesn't make any noise at all, because it doesn't open and close.

I guess the other argument to 'don't fix what ain't broke' is that 'you won't know if you like something better if you don't try something new.'

I'm "upgrading" to a new stabilizer (10" fuse axiom). We'll see how it works out.....but I like it for the 3D I've been shooting a little (shooting a frined's).

I'm going to upgrade my sights with fitz fibers after turkey season is over.

Besides those.....I'll be going with the same bow I ended my '06 season with. It'll be my first full season shooting Bowtech (ally). I've already seen SEVERAL deer, turkey hunting. It shoud be another great year.

I wasn't planning on making any changes this year, but some sore back and shoulder bouts have me looking at a smoother drawing bow. So this year I'll be toting a Mathews Drenalin with a QAD LD dropaway rest, Extreme RT1000 sights, a Fuse Axiom stabilizer, and I'll be shooting Rage broadheads. Also, after the leaves are down I'm going to give my new Predator fall grey suit a try.

Hopefully the deer will cooperate and give me a lot of chances to try my new gear out.
