I would like to have a few Bows for Guests.
I have a small 3-D range with a few Deer set up and would like for folks to be able to try out some different set-ups. Also some folks would like to take advantage of our early season bow hunts that do own a bow.
Which ones should i get for folks who have never shot or have limited experience?

That is a tough questions since you have no clue as to sizes. I would keep an eye on the auction sites and just pick up a few deals. I would be sure to pick up a youth recurve and a youth compound. You have a great opportunity to introduce some of your guests kids into the sport if you can provide them with something. The youth recurve will handle any size child incase they are a bit small for a youth compound. My daughter still shoots her Bravo recurve that I picked up at Bass Pro for cheap.

As for the other ones I would just try to get a few different sizes.Depending on what the draw weight law is in your state for hunting I would getone at the minimum so the women and smaller teens can use it for your 3-D's but could hunt if so choose to. Along with a 60lbs for the adults. I don't think that you need to invest any money in anything heavier since they are just guests. If they come visit and enjoy the sport(which they certainly will) they can get a bow for themselves.

Mathews Genesis, it has no set draw length, so it will fit everyone. A lot of schools use them for their archery classes. There are even programs that supply them for reduced costs to organizations. Might be worth checking into.

Its a well made little rig that can fit Mama, Junior and Papa with little or no adjustments. Its not powerful enough to take deer with, but for shooting targets its perfect for everyone.
