Default First Morning Turkey Hunt

Today was my first chance to go out turkey hunting in the morning. I have been out 4 evenings and have been seeing birds but no cigar. This morning I had 3 gobblers 500 yards away messing around trying to get across the river. At about 7:30 two hens showed up and I decided to get ready so I folded up my chair and gave a few putts and purrs. The hens picked about and I didnt think anything of it until one of them came out and I saw it had a 6 inch beard! It walked past my blind which allowed me to nock an arrow then it walked back and was looking at me the whole time so I leaned out of view drew back at the hardest angle I could think of then leaned out got her in my sights and WOMP! down she went. The Gobbler Guillotines have earned their place in my hunting blind!

Congrats on the bird. Where did you hit her with the GG, her head doesn't seem to be mangled at all?

Right above the beard about two inches. It was a 20 yard shot and the arrow dropped abit.
