I don't think it has anything to do with how much money you want to spend. I have a digital Cuddeback infrared and a cheaper Wildview 3 megapixel with a standard flash. The difference in price was about $350. I like the Wildview more. The flash does not seem to affect the deer whatsoever, and although it does go through batteries rather quickly, for $150 I can buy a lot of batteries. I also like the regular flash pictures much better than the infrared pictures. Also, using the Cuddeback is like breaking into a CIA computer system. They do it for security, which is nice, but it is a total pain at the same time. I honestly am going to stick with Wildview from here on out just because I do not see a $350 advantage to the Cuddeback.

I saw those predertor cams at the minnisota deer and turkey expo, Im seriously considering one this year. They have awsome features, very inovative and reasonably priced.

I'm a home brew builder but this no flash looks slick and if it works as well as the parts & supplies that Perry provided for home brew cams it will work slick too.
