I've seen a lot of pics of sheds and wondered when do you go to find them? I've never found any and wondered when the bucks actually shed them. We have a lot of coyotes around here and I've heard they like to chew the sheds up. I would like to find some so I can see just what caliber of bucks we have in this area. Thanks in advance.

Hey BBH,
Usually mid Jan to as late as the end of Feb they are dropping. We find most along fences and thick "buchbrush" between bedding and feeding areas. LOL

I begin looking 3-4 weeks following the winter equinox, the 22nd of Dec this year. I'll start around th 15th-17th of Jan while coyote scouting / hunting. And as basserman stated; 'til mid-Feb - late Feb.
