Hubby has pin sights? It seems like he is always tinkering w/them. Does he need new ones? If so what are the pros and cons of fiber optic sights. Saw some at the store but was wondering how durable they are.

They are super bright, which obviously makes them easier to see, especially in low light conditions. If he has the old metal pins, he'll appreciate the upgrade....The fibre themselves are a bit ...brittle, but if you get a good set with a good pin gaurd, they'll last for years.
