I've never gotten deeply into the whole scent control issue. When I hunt I take a good shower at night before I go to bed. The next morning I get up and go straaight to the woods. Usually I spray down with HS Scents Scent Killer but sometimes I just put on my hunting clothes and check the wind and hit the stand.

I am fortunate to have access to a shower at work. I do so with the last 15 min. of work, that way I can go right out in the field. One of my soaps even recommends washing w/scent free soap for several days prior to hunting, to have more of an effect. I usually don't go hunting if I have not used a scent cover.

I hunt mostly before or after work. On the weekends and on morning hunts i have the luxury of showering and all that. Due to the distance between my properties i hunt, there is no way to shower after work. I am extremely careful about hunting the wind and making it work for me. I also make sure i spray down well and take my time getting into the stand so i dont work up a sweat and by doing this, i havent seen any drop in the number of deer seen.
