Default Connecticut Sunday Archery Hunting

House Bill 5120 has been introduced in Connecticut to allow archery hunting on Sundays on private land. This is a reincarnation of last years SB605. Last year the bill made it through the Senate and died in the House. I have provided an informational link and a link that can be used to monitor the ney bill as it makes its way through the process:
Bill Information:

Status:
http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/cgabillstatus/cgabillstatus.asp?selBillType=Bill&bill_num=HB 05120&which_year=2007
I don't live in Connecticut but I hunt in Connecticut and I thought I would pass this along. If you want to be able to archery hunt private land in Connecticut start the calls and letters.

thanks for the info . I don't hunt Connecticut but but i hope it passes for you . I still can't believe in this day and age some states or cities are still clinging to these archaic and foolish laws. When will they get there is a separation of church and state

Wow, I too find it amazing that some states still don't allow hunting on Sundays. For me, the woods are my "church" where I can truly enjoy and behold what our good Lord has created for us.

That would be fantastic. I hunt in RI and CT, typically hunt in RI on Sundays and CT on Saturday or during the week when I can get time off. Sunday archery hunting in CT would make things a little more flexible for me.
