yes i did, and have seen people fly all over to hunt.
Kinda like the difference between hearing and listening I guess. I have no desire to keep explaining everything to you.

Did you not blow it waaaaay out of context? yes or no?
Sigh.........whatever germ. It's clear you only posted in this thread to argue with me (big surprise) and that is a shame because it was a good thread before the petty garbage derailed it.

I wish people around here would start replying to the topic instead of the author.
Thx for not answering the question as usual;)

I am not arguing at all.

Hello pot about derailing threads;)

Oh my god...........you are clueless.
How? You have offered no details execpt bound to a wheel chair? I offered to help.

Boy, this topic certainly went down the tubes..........people who started out saying one thing are now doing a 180 and all kinds of qualifiers are being added to each and every post.

It was just a general question.........with a few examples that some people seem fixated on. You guys are reading way too much into this.
This was post 88, per that I posted 2 post about the topic.

Sigh poor Atlas, whatever;)

RE: Are hunters selfish??

I know some who are not selfish...I don;t have a good placeto hunt, I live in central Florida. Another hunter on here from Missouri offered me to hunt at his home. He showed me where to hang my stand ..I bagged one the next morning.

Last year I struck out in FLorida a gain.. A package came in the mail..he sent me a 160 pound deer cut up in roast and tenderloin steaks..This hunter is not selfish. When I bagged my deer he couldn't stop giggling..

I would also say that we hunters who follow the rules are not selfish. I could of easily scored in FLorida a few times but I chose ot leave my flashlight off.;)

Good thread and God bless,
Oh heres my partner I ran into on Hunting.net Strut.

Chuck,

I agree, most hunters are not selfish

I disagree with you that this is a good thread .....it's idiotic ....

as was said, a hunter is a human, making them flawed .... however, most hunters I know are great guys and gals ..... I think some just like to spread their anger and haughtiness across numerous threads ..... [:'(]

I see no difference in your posting since you said you were leaving because the only reason you were coming here was to argue.

My friends dad has nothing to do with the thread at all........it was simply an answer to your implication about what I was "thinking".

RE: Are hunters selfish??

I can see where you are coming from for the most part. I do agree their are alot of hunters with these kind of mentalities. If you asked anyone who knows me, they would tell you that I am far from this kind of person. I realy enjoy letting people that are less fortunet because they dont have their own property to hunt on come out and be able to enjoy what I can do when ever I honestly want. I think that everyone should be able to experience the great outdoors now and then. When I think of an ethical hunter I dont just think of makeing good decisions on shots or the animal to harvest, when ever you get the chance to take someone hunting"especialy kids" you got to open your heart and not worry about things like "I dont want anyone killing my game" because you will leave a memory with them that will probably last the rest of their lives.
