Default Poll......Mature deer where you hunt?

NO NEED for responses......just a simple yes or no. I'm wondering what people think about the areas they hunt.

Question is...

Are there mature deer (3.5 and older) where you hunt?

Clarification: BUCKS

I hear ya Matt. I "assume" everyone understands that what I'm asking isn't ....if you SEE them. I assume everyone knows I'm asking if you think they're THERE, or not.

Where i hunt in NJ, there are mature deer being 3.5 and up, not tons of them, but when you get permission to hunt developements, there are some monsters. Getting them is a whole other story.

Define "where".

If the property one hunts, is 99.5% void of mature buck travel, but does that 0.5% chance one may cruise thru in the rut count as having mature bucks?

Overall yes, my hunting places have enough mature bucks around that its worth trying to hunt them. May never really see one but once or twice a year, but that's all it takes. But I do hunt some places where I think I'd have a better chance at seeing elvis, than a mature buck, just because of hunter dynamics and quality of habitat.

If this question would have been asked to me last year my answer would have been no, but since then I have seen 2 dead in the back of a truck a the checking station that contradicted what I had thought along with an encounter during bow season with a mature whitetail. No they were not 150'' deer, but mature nontheless.

The deer in my area are extremely immature. They are always pulling practical jokes, smarting off, and rolling my treestands. I'm just about sick of it. Just kidding, yes there areon most of the pieces I hunt.

Yes, in the areas I hunt I saw at least 22 bucks that would have made P&Y last fall.

To answer the question, yes, there are mature bucks where I hunt some areas hold more than others for me though (obviously).
