Drop away.

Early-in, nice buck, congrats. Do you think that you would not have been able to take him with a drop away rest? Is there a story on that buck that made the WB a better rest? I'm not trying to start anything, just curious as to why you attribute your success to the WB. That, and I like to hear hunter success stories.
Especially since the shot was low...assuming you were aiming for the lungs...[8D]
Never assume, there's no future in it.

For hunting, WB.

Edit - The only drop away I would consider using on a bow would be a limbdriver, and that would only be used for a competition specific bow. I still think there are better options as well for competition specific bows as well.
A friend of mine uses the limb driver for his competition bow and it is a really sweet rest. It supports the arrow just about as far as possible without hitting the fletching. Neat set-up.

Atlas....I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Maybe you shouldn't participate in the poll??? You could show your disgust in that manner.

You interjected things I had NEVER thought of......and for what reason?

You're assuming some pretty nasty things that aren't ONE BIT close to being reality. I'd hope you'd just back out now and not take this any further. I'm conducting a POLL.

I'm not dismissing ANYONE'S opinion. I'm SEEKING it.

I have used both and have no complaints. I shot a WB last year and loved it. Very helpful when in the stand and having to bend or twist wierd ways for a shot. Also helpful while stalking a deer in a situation where your arrow could get bumped off your rest without you knowing. The only reason I went to the drop alway was because I purchased a new bow and I was going to see how many fps I could get out of it. So far with the drop I haven't had any problems with my arrows falling off the rest when coming to full draw or anything of that sort. But I have no complains either way...Both GREAT rests!!

Why should I??.........it's clear that you would just dismiss my opinion anyways.

You interjected things I had NEVER thought of
They are YOUR words!!!........you have said numerous times that you are looking for the BEST and what the BEST use blah blah blah........and then you post a "poll" that you admit you couldn't care less about the numbers of...........you simply want to judge people and decide whether or not you think their opinion is "worthy" of merit. You have no interest in the "masses"............just those you find worthy of your high company. What a joke.

You're assuming some pretty nasty things that aren't ONE BIT close to being reality.
I'm not assuming anything.........you said yourself you don't care about WHAT is said but rather WHO says it........you only care about what the best hunters and archers are doing so you see no need to lower yourself to dealing with the masses. Pardon us for soiling your eyes with our worthless opinions your highness

I'm conducting a POLL.
Except it is a POLL of people...........not of rests.

The unbelievable audacity of this thread nauseates me [:'(]

Atlas, you are a funny guy.Like Hiawatha said, "if I had only one phone call, I'd call Atlas".I'd also call you if I had trouble sleeping.
