Poundage Increase
#1
I just got a Hoyt Trykon. I have it set at 65# right now, because I am going to try to use it for turkey hunting this year, but I was thinking about cranking it up to 70# for deer after turkey season is over. My question is how much will it really help me as far as the speed and distance I can shoot.
Here is the setup
Hoyt Trykon
28" draw
Easton Epic ST 340
100 gr 3 blade muzzy
Whisker Biscuit
Thanks
Dan

I can remember what the average is as far as fps per pound of draw goes but you should gain 10 maybe 15 fps. As far as distance goes, it will help flatten your trajectory a bit but other than that not much increase in total distance.
