LOL Proabably should have just asked who DOESN"T wear rubber boots and ask THEM why!

Lacrosse Burly 1000 gram.

Prolly gonna get a pear of Alpha sports this year. Burlys are getting a bit heavy to hike in.

Do I wear them? In the early part of the season I will...

Do I think they are any better at blocking scent than my leather boots that I wear as the temps drop? No...

I have not seen any visible evidence (that would be from a deers reaction to my tracks)that my rubber Lacrosse burleys stop scent any more than my leather Vasques after years of experience......

i always use rubber boots. I have a pair that i only wear in the woods, they never touch pavement. and be carefuly about spraying them with scent killer bc the factory reps from wildlife research said that it produces a chemical smell that deer can smell.

I wear regular hunting boots in warm temps and just spray down the soles of them with my dead down wind, and in the colder temps or if it's raining i'll wear my Lacrosse Alpha Burlys.

I bow hunt most of the bow season and i just wear my leather hiking boots.. I never have a problem with the deer scenting me. just spray your self down with a scent killer and and keep your stand high enough and you should be alright..
