I set mine for 30, 40, 50. If your bow is shooting at least 280, you should be able to get 30 yards with your first pin. Maybe an inch or so high and twenty and an inch or so low at thirty.

Just kidding.
I've got 5 pins but rarely use 2 and usually just 1. But I've got the first 4 set at 20, 30, 40, and 50. But yes, I do like to get close.
