Best of luck getting this sorted out John, what a mess. I do think you at least owe it to yourself to make a phone call and discuss this with him. You never know, he may surprise you and try to make it right. You spent a lot of $$$ in that shop and I feel you should at least pursue this with a phone call. I can assure you he knows the tech side of working on bows and arrows, that isn't the problem.........who knows, maybe one of his shop techs did the work and he may not be aware of it.

I'd say, you need to give the owner a chance to make it right. What he does with that chance is up to him and will decide the future of your business at that store.
Further, if he does attack you, just take the punch like a little punk! Fall down, role around sceaming "please don't kill me"!
Who knows, soon you may own the store and you can fire the crappy tech!
