Good news guys! I went to this guys shop and i shot the vectrix. i could have sworn i was in heaven. the draw was smooth as butter and the bow it self was really light...i have found my true love. The guy that i talked to said that i could get one a 60# to 70#, 28 inch draw, just the bow for $650 and tax...is this a good deal or should i check other places???

Congrats on liking the Vectrix...I sold mine after two weeks. Horrible materials, horrible paint, and horrible strings. Hated it as soon as I shot it, that is what comes from ordering a bow before you shoot it.
No matter, I now have a Darton Pro3000 and am happier with it than I ever was before.
To each his own I guess. Just curious if Darton strings are so good why do use use Bucknasty's strings? Kinda odd you'd comment on a string if you replace them anyway. As far as horrible materials I don't know what your looking at. Hoyt has the best limbs in the business and doesn't use plastic like many other bow makers. Oh well, Glad your happy with your Darton.

Congrats Hoyteen, Its a heck of a bow as you can probably tell by all the positive posts. I love mine. I have to admit I like it better than my Guardian. To be fair though I haven't shot my Guardian all that much yet.

i won it by watching the show The Choice. All i had to do was look for the hoyt logo and then go to huntingnet.com/thechoice and tell them where i saw it, then form there it was a random drawing. They do it every week with a different sponser. I know they will be doing it with there show The Archers Choice. I got so lucky and cant beleive it.

i must thank you trykon you took the words right out of my mouth, after i read his post i went and got out my vectrix just to look it over and make sure we were both talking about the same bows and came to the conclusion that we cant be, my vectrix is flawless in ever aspect of the bow, i was just wondering if darton made a bow called the vectrix and he had it confused with a hoyt?

Im on #4 in 7 years. I love them. I started off with a older one that I bought at a flea market. Next was a Raider with intruder limbs. Then I got into the big league with a Vipertec and now I have a Trykon XL. I will get a Vectrix next year off ebay like I did with my past 2. No need to go with another brand yet.
