Rookie Bowhunter

So, does anyone here have try pig calling during a hunt? Does it work? What have you used?

Any other toughts in ow to attrack/lure pigs? I hunt in California, so bite is a nono...[&o]

Call 1-800-WAL-MART. I know they got a lot of pigs in there!

i have tried it several times not knowing if it worked or not but we did see pigs there with in about 15 miutes

I've only baited them with corn, soured corn, hog wild. We trapped some last year and penned them. I bought a pig caller that looks like a grunt tube but smaller and skinnier. I tried it on the penned up hogs just to see what effect it had and they actually would perk up and step towards me. I haven't tried it yet in the woods actually pig hunting but it showed promise.

don't know what part of the country you are from but you might want to make sure it's legal. there is another thread about florida that talks about it w/ some vigor.
