dang goherd..they sure are on sale!!

now...the 7 inch or the 4 inch?? i was thinking if the 4 inch was drilled and tapped i could add a mini s-coil to the end of it. may look funny..but that would probably be DEADLY. or just go with the 7 inch?? really cant pass it up for that price!

anyone know if the 4 inch is drilled and tapped? what would you guys do???

I reeaaalllyy don't like my s-coil. Granted, I'm shooting an older Hoyt TenacityII that is pretty noisy and violent.
I ditched the s-coil and made my own. It's basically a 3"x1" cylinder filled 3/4 of the way with mercury. It really dampened the shock and seems to be quieter too.

I got one just because a lot of people I know have one (peer pressure is a motha):D, glad I did. After I had it awhile I decided to try shooting my bow without just to see if it really did make a difference. Long story short, I ended up shooting one of the worst groups of my life. Threw the S- Coil back on and I was back on target. It balances my bow a lot better which really improves my accuracy. It's probably all in my head but hey, what ever helps ya.

Wash hit the nail on the head. It works great on my Guardian even though i really dont need it and it worked great on my V-tec which was just as quiet as the Guardian. Its in my opinion that because the technology in bows are making them quieter then ever before, a stablizer is more about creating perfect balance in your handrather then quieting down a loud bow.
