Default Check out this new bow!!!!

Elite just updated their website today to include the new "envy". Check the specs out on this bad boy. However, the MSRP is a little high. I know some folks on this site have stated that Elite archery has a few problems such as customer service, etc. However, I must say I would love to shoot this bow. What are your guys' opinions of it?

Wonder why they're using a cam with a draw stop. I thought those were on the way out.

Good looking bow, kinda looks like a hoyt and a mathews bumped uglies and out popped the envy lol. Specs are great, weather or not they actualy come close is another story and I personaly thing customer service is very important no matter what kinda specs a bow has.

If it is as good as the other Elites i shot it will be an awesome shooting bow. I cant wait to hear some input on it. I wonder how harsh the draw is? I guess we'll wait and see.

Anybody hear about the $1000 price tag?

Killer design, horrible price.

Great looking bow, awesome specs. But I kind of agree with Dan. If you want to grow as a company you might not want to price yourself right out of the market. There are plenty of incredible bows going for $500-$800.

Alot of that is in the limbs and the rest is in the ibo speed.

If they had a bow that was designed to shoot instead of chrono and sit in a tree with,I would like to try one out. They look sweet.

Lets see,36" a-a, 7 1/2" brace and 315 ibo.Along with those laminated limbs.

OH Hoyt already makes it,the vectrix Xl.[8D]

Just kidding guys,I do like what they are doing but maybe when they get a little bigger, they will start gearing their products toward other potential buyers.

I heard thatthey are only running a production of about 1000 envy's and they don't have a problem finding people to pay $1000. That's the MSRP though, probably retails a little lower. I would not want to draw this bow back out of a tree stand on a cold day...You have to pay the price for all that speed somehow.

I am going to guess there is alot of preload on the limbs but being laminated, they should handle it no problem. You are also probably right in asuming the cam is a bit harsh.[8D]
