I,ve been shooting the bisquit for about 5 yrs.(no pun intended) I've killed loads ofbucks with it, never a problem. Just recently changed over to the Trophy Ridge Drop Away, before last falls Illinois bow hunt.(you know, keeping up with the times)Three days into the hunt, I had a 150" 10pt respond to a grunt call. He came from 60yds, right up to 15 yds to my left, standing broadside, waiting for lightning to strike-em. TEXTBOOK SHOT right.......right. From the way my arrow was rested on the dropaway, as it lifted, it torqed the nock out of the string, sending my arrow to ground. The buck looked at the arrow on the ground, looked up at me(now at full draw with no arrow......felt like a jackass), and walked away.........My point...............IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT!!....Oh and by the way use a whisker bisquit.

My only issue is how rough it can be on standard 4 inch vanes.
great rest the only problem i had was noise.I used to shoot xx78 2315's but after scaring away every deer i tried to draw on i switched to carbons and have not had any more problems
I don't like them they make noise as the arrow goes through . And they tear up feathers. And the colder it is the more noise they make.
I will say that I do hear my arrow when I am drawing back my bow sometimes dragging through my biscuit but dont they all? I was drawing on a muley from a stalk Id done on him and at 40 yards we both heard it I think.I was still behind a bush when I drew and I know thats what he heard when he alerted on my proximity.....Im stealthy like that.
I got one and agree on the noise somewhat,
According to the CAP website (makers of the WB).....the folks above and I aren't the only ones that have had issues with the WB and noise. They have a section of their site dedicated to reducing the noise of the WB. I used this rest for a portion of last season.....and loved everything about it.....except the noise created by drawing MY arrows across the bristles. I say "MY" arrows,......because all carbon arrows don't have issues with the WB. Mine did. It cost me a deer. If there had been a proven method for silencing the rest.....I'd still use it. As it stands.....the fall away I switched to has full arrow containment capabilities.....and none of the noise. There are conversations that go on like this on various forums, every week/month. The noise issues associated with this rest are commonly pointed out as "A" reason people switch. With some of today's fall aways offering full arrow containment capabilities.......I just (personally) don't see the allure of this type of arrow rest.

It's a great rest......and it's proven itself popular. It also has downfalls that I'm not willing to accept.

I won't shoot without one. All rests are good, but for convience and realiability I will stick with them. I know there is talk of speed, etc, but what is a few seconds. Killed two birds this fall with one on the bow, so I guess it wasn't too slow. Guess I am saying "pro" and suggest using one.

I been thinking about switching rests this year and I heard some good and bad on the whisker bisquit. I'm still not convinced either way
Just recently got a new bow and it came with a biscuit (new delux version) and I can't imagine there being another one on the market that could be more user friendly and dependable if you are talking hunting.Tournament shooting is probably a differant story.I have asked about good and bad in other forums and pretty much got more good than bad which seems to be the case here too. I asked because I was getting black marks on the vanes and some alsowere gettingout of shape (squiggly ya might say). Good advise from wapitibull357 was to get an EZ-fletch and if some do get beat up change vanes. Some sayDURAVANES work great with NO problems and others say 2 in. BLAZERS are the way to go.I also was advised to try the super glu at the point where the vanefirstenters the Biscuit whenreleased. I shoot Easton Carbon Storms and have also ( just like here) had some say to go carbon vs. Aluminum with the Biscuit. Bottom linefor me is:I think it's great. I shoot a walk thru 14 target field course every weekend, in the back yard a couple times a week and use it for 3-D events.Last thing, sorry,I've been told and have read that the out ofshape vanes won't effect things unless they get real tore up and that you can get vanes back in shape with a little help from a hair dryer. Good luck

Nice birds...............hard to believe you could kill anything like that with such a slow, loud, inaccurate, rest Like I said already........the only enemy the WB has is human error.

Couldn't agree more...........I lay my bow right across the rail of my Summit and when a deer comes along I can focus on him 100%.......no twisting, no reaching, no holding my arrow, no moleskin, no moving parts, no strings, no cables, no springs, and no problems.

I suppose I could post the number of deer I killed utilizing the wb, last year.....Oh...OK....here goes......

ZERO

Then.....the number with my new fall away that has ALL the arrow containment capabilities of the WB......and none of the noise.........Oh....OK....

FIVE

If the same Human were using the respective rests......I think we can take that element out of the equation (either that.....or the highly-sophisticated characteristics of the WB make it too big of a challenge, for me). Luckily....the error-proof qualities of the fall away I'm using simply make it irresistable.

Fall-away.....so simple a caveman can use it!!
