I do plan on putting a cam there. I do know there are a couple of 140 plus deer in that area if they werent killed this year. Those trees are about 8- 10 inches in diameter!

this could also be a deer's core area. if that is the case, i recommend not hunting right on top of it.
i know deer around here will keep the same core area until they feel its no longer safe.
a core area is like the deers bedroom. its where he feels safe. he knows everything about that particular area since he spends alot of time there. its normally where he beds (except for the rut).he will notice if something is outta place if you go in there.if you pressure too hard in this area, he will be gone.
but if it is a community rubbing spot, then you just struck gold.
either way, you just gained ALOT of knowledge. i would also put a game camera there...
