It's not a terrible time!!!! The weather and the waters will be warming in the next few weeks. Its time to Bass fish, Bass fish, and Bass fish some more. Time flies when your having fun. Deer season will be here before I know it. All kidding aside, I guess I'm lucky. I love bass fishing just as much as I do deer hunting. Once I begin to get burnt out on one of them its time to start the other. Life is great.
Goherd1111 has it right. There is so much to do in between, like bass fish. I love to bass fish. It really hurts the wallet because after I get supplies for the deer season I find myself right back at the greatest store in the world (BassPro) getting my fishing supplies. It's a vicious cycle, but what the heck. I gotta do it.

I trout fish in the spring and then I gradually mix in bass fishing until the trout gear gets put up for the year. Then I exclusively bass fish until late summer. At that point it's all aboutperforming final checks on the deer gear.

Of course whilst doing all the fishing I am practicing my shooting with my bow from a deer stand and the ground. Plenty to do that’s for sure.

PA Bow/Flinter - Sorry to hear about you being pent up with a broken leg. Good luck in a speedy recovery. The woods will be waiting on you!

Yeah the off season is tough. It's a good time to start saving for some new equipment though.I normally get out on the water every chance I get.Do some work around the house. Anything to get outdoors until the season arrives.

Deer Season is a year-around thing for me. Seems like there is always sometime to do, in relation to it. Right now, you can do some Post-Season Scouting, Predator Control, Shed Antler Hunting, Checking Game Cam's,TreeStand Maintence, and archery target practice. There's always something you can do, relating to deer hunting, which keeps me busy every month of the year.

I know what your sayin. I started icefishing this winter, but im burnt out already. Last weekend me and my girlfriend went and stayed up at the huntin land but it just aint the same. I didnt find any sheds, I think they still might be wearing um in our area, at least I hope so. Last year I found 11 sides, this year so-far none. As soon as the ground thaws I will be busy planting trees and putting in our food plots. Cant wait.
