This sucks!! its only Feb. and deer season cannot get here soon enough!! i'm already so anxious. I get worse every year! What do you all do to get through this terrible time

I am at college right now so i know where you are coming from, it is driving me crazy too! when i was in High school though i would set aside one task a week to do to my bow/arrows/treestands to prepare for the next hunting season.

Practice, Practice, Practice. Build muscle memory so when the summer comes, you dont have to worry about form or anything, just shoot. I also ice fish, and shed/coyote hunt.

You think you've got it bad?

I'm laid up with a broken leg...I can't even go outside!!! I would love to take on some 'yotes or go look for some sheds...but no, I'm stuck on this stupid couch for the next 3 weeks!!

Man that does suck. I've been out looking for sheds, nothin yet tho. I went yote huntin a few times, but no luck with that either. I shoot my bow so much it isnt funny. Ha, i shot a black bird with it today. I think if i can make it to turkey season with out losing it i'll be ok, cause right after that i'll start glassing for deer and preparing stands and food plots.

It's not a terrible time!!!! The weather and the waters will be warming in the next few weeks. Its time to Bass fish, Bass fish, and Bass fish some more. Time flies when your having fun. Deer season will be here before I know it. All kidding aside, I guess I'm lucky. I love bass fishing just as much as I do deer hunting. Once I begin to get burnt out on one of them its time to start the other. Life is great.

i just start a count down. Then hog and preditor hunt. but everyonce in a while ill go hope in a stand and just sit and watch. Basic scouting in the early /late season

Hog hunts are a good way to pass the time. A little Turkey hunting here and there, and before you know it, wham.

I also buy a new bow every year around this time so I can obsess about it for a couple of months, and its spring time.

I know your pain, you have to watchexpirations on soda bottles, movie dates, get cancelling from people youhuntwith, shoot your bowan start planning for the season.
The season is still in here in Arkansas my brother an I are going huntingSunday morning an then goingto do some riding around after about 11 or so, that will be it tilOct. 1st.
