My favorite way to hunt whitetails is from a treestand nothin' beats watchin' a buck walk right under you!

I must disagree..nothing beats one ateye level Its all good though Pope.. I do agree there.

Elk on the ground are even better! Screaming 1000 lb bulls blowin' snot and horning the bank and tearing up trees15 yards away...

My favorite way to kill awhitetailis off the ground with a bow, but its not the easiest or most effective tactic...in many cases. I pick the tactic that ups my odds the most (tree)over my favorite most of the time.
I agree, I usually stand hunt but had an opp at an elk on the ground this year. Elk were in a wheat field and i managed to slip in behind them and callem in. I found it wayyy more of a rush being on the same level as the animal and feel like it was more of an accomplishment for me peronally. sorry just seen your other post now there shed. Yes a bull at close range will send chills down your spine and shake your whole body like your having a grand mal.

I think sitting on the ground gets your blood pumping a lot harder than sitting in a stand, but I also enjoy sitting a tree aswell.

My favorite way to bow hunt is naked, covered in camo paint and with rambo explosive tip arrows!

Tree stand are awsome, but if I had the choice, still hunting would top them all. There is nothing better than still hunting to me. It is the ultimate adrenaline rush when a big buck is spotted.
