im new to bowhunting and was wondering what are some of the things you guys do to maintain your bows performance between hunts?

use a bow case and apply bow wax to your bow string every couple times you shoot it.

I like to get my bow checked over every year before the season starts by a proshop. Also every thing that Nefarious12 said.

Ya the usaual make sure ur bow string waxed up and yearly tune ups by the local proshop. make sure everythings in order.

Between hunts, just waxing and making sure it's dry before putting it away. Also, I like to wipe off any scent spray residue that finds its way onto the bow. I might replace some moleskin on the rest if needed but nothing too major.

Between seasons, she gets the royal treatment. I take it to the shop for a good once over (new strings and cables, lube where needed, check the limbs, etc.)
