Default Tree Saddle

Has anyone used this? The concept seems great to me. I am sure there is a learning curve but the amount of trees you would be able to use (options) seems like it would be very good. Looking for some feed back. Thanks.

My gluteus maximus is getting numb. Can't imagine how it would be on those all day sits during the rut. Looks like it would be good for certain situations though.

Bruce i killed my first deer in a "original tree sadle" because its my best friends grandpartents started trophylines tree sadle. Its excelent for bowhunting because is easy to swing around a tree without a deer seening you. I often find myself using my treelounge instead these days just because of the work that has to be done to get into a tree with the tree sadle. But if you have the money to invest into the treesteps then more power to you. If you are hunting your own land and know good locations to put them up it you should get one. Im proof that its worth it

Love mine. I have 22 trees set up to go at all times. PM me if you have more questions.

One thing is, you never have to worry about a stolen stand or someone hunting your stand. I would only buy one if you can have multiple trees set up with screw in steps though.

i think them coupled with a climbing system and cramp-ons would be the way to go. forget tree steps and ladders! just always thought about that...dont know how well it would work

the saddle intrests me...but if its not a active part of the day..or i just aint seein jack you will 99% of the time find me sawing logs in my viper ss. and i dont see how you can move around a stand easy and more quietly then i can. i can shoot almost 360 degrees in a viper. the only shot i cant do with my bow is hard right behind me. for me to miss a shot opprotunity i set up bad, and had a deer that beelined in my blind spot and right back out of it as well..which is unlikely. i just have mixed feelings about it..i wish i knew someone with it id like to try one first hand....you can review it all day and i still think its something that one would have to try to see what THEY think about it

Do you think Lone Wolf climbing sticks would work well with it? Maybe with a combination of the screw in steps up near the top?

What kind of work has to be done? I have a treelounge too but from what I have seen about the tree saddle it doesn't seem like any more work than using a climber but it would be a heck of a lot lighter.

That thing does not look the least bit comfortable. For $270 I'll go with a summit. From what the website shows there is no way of using it without using your leg muscles. It's like you are repelling, but in the same position for hours. Lets face it your legs are gonna get tired fast and then you are gonna be miserable. And another thing, when shooting you have noway of using your hips and legs to shoot, so you are using all arms when taking a shot, and your not going to be as accurate. Just my thoughts.
