I'm not walking around until I see enough of the farm deer that have dropped. They are still packing still and I've been keeping an eye on them. First of March is a great time for sheds. Although if I see them dropping early, I'm in the woods. I got 7 last year, but no complete sets, although I did witness one shaking his head and threw one, which I quickly ran over and snatched. The beauty of living dead center of my deer woods. I got a couple 130-140s walking around, which is frustrating since I didn't see one while season was in.

Wait until this spring. I have an area that has never been shed hunted, it should be a blast.

That pic was from 1hr and 45 mins of looking last spring. Found 54 in that time.

We did some looking Sunday. Not finding much yet and seeing a lot of bucks still carrying with a few half racks running around. It will be a few more weeks yet before most the bucks have shed here. Only 4 sheds found so far. We generally find 120 - 140 shedsa year. This should be a real good year for us the way it is looking.

Greg, Ive already started looking an we have found a few but my trail camera pics still show that the majority of buck still have thier headgear. We set up some shed traps this past week so hopefully they will be effective in the next two weeks. I think they are about to really start losing them.

I will start looking the beginning of March in WI and the end of April in Canada.

Dan your pic is of Canada ?...with all those older shed pick upsyou must have a very sweet spot all to yourself. Iget excitedwhen I get into a remote area and start finding old bone, its a nice sign.
