My wife is cool about it, her dad was a hunter. I pretty much have the family room.I had the buck mounted so it looks right at her when she's sitting in her favorite spot. But she admitted she likes it.

Couldn't vote, nothing on the ballet for me. We both hunt and have mounts throughout our big two story.

My wife INFORMS me where she wants the various species mounts located, they are everywhere! I don't hunt for raccoons, but now she wants one mounted holding an ear of corn...

Gotta Love her:D

I can hang in certain rooms, I have mounts in my boys BR and down stairs family room. Not allowed in the LR - wife thinks its tacky. But considering she was anti-gun, anti-hunting when we got together ( 22 years ago) and now she likes to shoot and enjoys wild game and cooks it well We have come along way.:D

I can't figure the trick to upload. I was going to put a pic with my user id, but it kept saying the file was too big. When I finally got it small enough to work, it was smaller than a postage stamp? I'll never claim to be the sharpest broadhead in the quiver....

I have to shoot one big enough to mount first. Then we'll see

My wife recommended I get this past season's buck mounted when I wasn't planning on it, it's not like I don't have lot's of room for it in my big log home. I'll be mounting plenty more as I finish off the basement with a big log bar and more walls for more mounts.

That's a great looking room lifesadrag, here's a example of mine.

I don't have any mounts, but if I did I could hang them anywhere I wanted to.

lol
Interesting thread. My wife and I made the agreement when I built my house, I was finishing my first level to how I want it. She has the main level to decorate and I have my level. But it was made real clear no mounts out of my restricted level.

Which is fine anyway my level far exceeds anything she can put together. I wouldn't want them any where else.
