I can display it anywhere that there's room left. My darn g/f keeps taking all the good spots for her mounts!

Heres how living room looks:

NOW tell m,e who runs the show. ALthough I wish I had a digital camera. By the way the reason my dads mounts are at my wife and I's house is because his house's roof is getting renovated, he loves to keep his mounts for safety since he wont be able to go home for another 5 months. My shoulder mounted Aoudad should be back in about 3 more weeks form taxi.

hummm? funny you should ask ., here a few years back i suprised my wife and put 3 deer head mounts in the living room., she came home from work and said what the h$% are you thinking ., so 2 of them came down and went downstairs., then came the bear head ,.she said downstairs., then came my 05 deer head mount.,she said that one stays upstairs , send the other downstairs.,gezzzz ., i cant win.,but at least she lets me have 1 deer mount and my fish mount in the main room.,

I am allowed to put my mounts anywhere.

I must ask this question?You leftout a line on your poll, that my wife thinks is important.

5)You can hang mounts anywhere, but your wife still has more mounts than you.

Not to sound chauvanistic but I'm paying for the house so it goes anywhere I want, and my wife's cool with that, I chose carefully when I picked a wife. Having said that I want them in my office which is above our bedroom. I wanted an english trophy room style office to display my swords and mounts but now I'm waverying between that style and something more like tribals room. Since I don't have the money to do either yet it's just plain unpainted plaster walls. I have three of my buddies mounts in there too while he builds his house. He has a great room with a gable wall that he will be mounting his deer on. His wife hunts and loves mounts. She sent him to Idaho this year to get an elk to mount to put on that big gable wall (he didn't get one). If I ever get an elk I'm not sure where I'll put that, won't fit in office most likely. If I ever get too many for my office I'll move them into the room just outside it.

The basement is it but that is okay because all my hunting gear is down there. Hope to finish it off soon.

my shoulder 8 point is stuck on the front door.:D

actually mom dont really like mounts so im stuck with my room, which is where i would put them regardless so it all works out.

alls i got is a shoulder whitetail, turkey fan, 2 hornets nests (these look awesome around mounts, i have one hanging in between my 8 points rack.), wood duck coming in july, and two deer horns on plaques.

I will have to say I have the greatest wife in the world! She knows that I like to hunt / fish so she decided to "theme" the house in a log cabin / outdoors theme. This way I can hang the mounts and stuff I have and she can decorate with some of the things she likes to...(she thinks moose are soooo cute).
