It's amazing to me how it makes me feel, hence the vote of can't explain how I feel. You really can't to those non-hunters, only other hunters can understand.

With a few exceptions it is when every thing makes the most sense to me! I never feel more alive or as in tune as when I am hunting.I can't imagine my life without it!

Dangit, I voted and didn't read the next to last option![:@] I tell you what, nothing can explain how I feel when I am in the woods. I could just be scouting in the preseason or in my stand during peak-rut and NOTHING beats it. After a hard day at work or just anything stressful, when I am in the woods, all else disappears. Even if I don't see deer, I still just enjoy being outside and being away from the hassles of everyday life. Just like fishing. Once hunting season is over, I look forward to the early morning trout fishing to come with nothing but the sound of the creek/river rolling over the nearby rocks.
