It isn't fun. I don't know what it is but it is well beyond fun.

For me it's beyond fun, I live for bowhunting Whitetails!

-I catch myself grinning ear to ear a LOT while hunting
-I have a phrase I use to describe events I see "That's worth the price of admission"
-I can't wait to get home and tell my wife everything I've seen

-When you come in from a big night out......and go straight to the stand....instead of going to bed.....you KNOW you love hunting. I did that, twice, this year!

I can't think of anything else that could get me up at 4 in the morning. I can't sleep at night, can't work, can't think about anything else but hunting for a month before the season opens.

Nuff said! If it were just fun, and not SO MUCH MORE, I'd still be sleepin in on those cold windy mornings. But you know I'm sitting in that stand when the sun comes up every chance I get. So it's beyond fun for me.

I love to bowhunt. I have always beenthe outdoors type of person. So any time I can get out anywhere in woods, I'm happy. Not sure how I would act if the only two spots (close to town and a treelinenext tosome timber) I have to hunt, had a better deer population. With the limited amout of timber or timber that has no one hunting it already. The only two spots so far that I am able tohunt, have a very low deer poulation. You can sit for a week or so straight without seeing anythings, it does test your dedication sometimes. I do manage to get at least one a year, but I definitely earn it. It sure makes for a rush when it all comes together though!!! Just seeing deer is a successful hunt for me sometimes.....But, ya just gotta love it..

Iowa? Canada? How about Kansas, you know, God's country! Hunting or just being outdoors, when I was a kid I never spent time indoors watching TV or playing video games. I was out side building forts, hunting with my daisy, getting poisen ivey..ect. The kids now a days don't have a clue! I can't put into words how it makes me feel but I just love taking someone out with me that has never been and seeing the look on their face when they experience being at the right place at the right time! Truly a gift from God!
