Default John Eberharts Vids( sign question)

I purchased Johns DVD's Bowhunting pressured whitetails. I have to say they are very informative and I learned alot. He did get a little repetitive with in the 3 dvds but it always led into something different.
He spoke about Post season scouting and finding and setting up on last years rut sign. Then later he spoke about preseason scouting( Finding fresh rubs etc. a couple of weeks before the season.)
My question is, While post season scouting how can you determine the difference between early season rubs and rut time rubs??

If you think I maybe missing something, Please try to correct me. I am a newbie wanting to learn.

Thanks,

Vinny

Default RE: John Eberharts Vids( sign question)

Eberhart recommends scouting for post-season rubs in Jan/Feb/March - whenever the season is over and the snow has melted. Most of your early rubs/scrapes for the following yearwill not show up until late summer. The time difference between the two sets of sign should allow you to differentiate.

His books are great.
