They are amazing, and I also recommend binoculars, pointing a rifle just to look could be misinterpreted.

There aint nothing wrong with using the gun to look at the as long as you dont have it loaded or pull the trigger. I have binocs but it is usually easyer for me to go get my gun and look that it is to find my binocs.
