Oh don't remind meI scored a great new spot this past season, but it's 6 hours each way. I would have to guessover 8000 miles and LOTS of gas money!

I would say somewhere between 300, and 500 miles. My spot is about 10 round trip, and I probably went out about 30, to 40 times. But this does not count all of the times I go out to check my camera.

More than I care to count. This year I will be taking trips to Nebraska, Montana, and Wyoming. All at different times. Also I travel ALL OVER Idaho from the panhandle region to the Nevada border. If 3-D shooting is counted add in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and California. My Frontier is packing on the miles!!!! But boy is it fun!!!!

Here in Idaho we don't gauge driving in terms of miles, we gauge it in hours. You may be able drive a long distance in a short time, or short distance in a long time. Almost all of my driving is on dirt roads and I have put two trucks on their lids and had one that I was able to have a wrecker get off the edge of a cliff. That was a 10 mile walk until I found a house to call from. Every year I have a butt pucker moment either in the truck or in the field. My grilfriend always knows what kind of day I am having when the call home is "don't worry I am OK", " I am going to be a little late getting home!!!!!"
