RE: Miles traveled during bow season?
ILBOW... that's where I hurt myself, I live on 95 acres with some good deer on it but the other land I have is loaded with big bucks and a lot of deer in general. I really only hunted where I live during the rifle. When it comes down to it I guess I'm pretty much a fool for driving 30 miles each way to hunt the other place.

2 trips south 1000 miles each way (4000). 1 Deer spot is 76 round trip-probably 10=760 another is 48 round trip x 5= 240 & another is 8 miles round trip at 20 trips = 160. That is JUST Bowhunting for sure-no scouting counted=5160 miles. Passed on several Bucks & a few Does so just the price of gas made this Doe pretty expensive-it's always worth it.
