Yea, I vote, and I normally vote Republican even though I belong to a labor union, I just will not stoop and vote for a liberal, and that seems to be what the Democrats wanna keep throwin at us to vote for. I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that if the far left took over our government, our rights and the things everyone on this forum love to do would be in jeopardy. JMHO

If your counting, no I do not. Your assumption that the bad people will take over if I don't is absurd. From where I'm sitting there is no difference in either party and I have no desire to stick up for either. Here in Ohio there are more democrats who support a sportsman than their are republicans, doesn't say anything worth saying. The education of the people is where victory will be found. Your deal is exactly what I hate, the use of fear to motivate people to act a certain way. I refuse to respond to such supplications and unfortunately that is the modus operandi of the powers that be today. I believe, based on history that is a pile of s*** and will led to the fall of this great nation as it has of past great nations. I really don't see us doing anything different than any others that have gone before us. Anyone who cares, read books written by a great American, Clayton Cramer. Tell me some thing, if everyone voted and the out come was the same, what would you blame it on then? Here in Mo when Clair McCaskill ran against Jim Talent there was not one positive add on TV.All they said is how bad the other guy was, don't vote for him or her.
I used to be a shop steward in a union shop. When Clinton ran they had to support him because he was a democrat. HE WAS FROM A RIGHT TO WORK STATE FOR GOSH SAKES. I vote in every election at every level of goverment.What good is having the ability to vote in a free society if you don't appreciate that right?I am a registered republican but I will cross party lines to vote for a person I feel represents the issues that are important to me.This is especially so in non national elections.

Once again I say get educated with some history and in this case that would be with early church history and in particular their views on voting for an earthly leader. You could start with the amish view. It has changed little. The history of voting in this country would be good to read at the same time. If you then presented a case from these findingsfor voting over not voting, I'dbe more inclined to listen. As it is, you remind me of the media. Same tactics. Fear!I turned them off a long time ago and found, I could think for myself. Stopped attending any organized "Church" as well. Just couldn't see any difference in the too. I see things haven't changed. This is the 1st time I have been to a Dr. since I hit a deer with my Harley 6 years ago. I never have health issues and my entire family never goes to the Dr.(knock on wood). The cost of our premium is outrageeous and we are self employed. |

No idea how to stop it. Almost impossible.
Note that I was only making an observation and comparing our system to one with socialized health care. After seeing both, I'll stick with high rates for private insurance. Here's one question. What is the point of MEDICAID? |

Will it be as good of care as what I may receive? Maybe not, but they will be treated. We live in a capitolistic society, we all have the same opportunities to succeed. Its just some choose not to. For all the views you showed above.....to promote big government getting involved in our healthcare matters, frankly,.....surprises me. I want WAY, WAY, WAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY LESS government. I am a personel trainer and I see it everyday. I help a guy loose 150 lbs, and guess what all his medical problems went away. My wife and I stick to a strick diet, no persevatives, no MSG's. I have not been to a doctor in 15 years. If ford required their employees to work out 30 mins a day 5 days a week; they would cut their health care cost by half. |

I agree.If I didn't ride a bike or hunt, I wouldn't have seen a Dr. in that many years either. Will this thread get locked because we are picking on fat people for making our insurance rates too high? Sometimes, we have to be politically correct.(Not me[8D])
