okay. i know it may not seem to get cold in mississippi. but with it getting in the low 20's and the wind blowing gets kind of chilly.. anyway, i went and got some remington bibs and parka.. the bibs are fine but the parka is TOO DANG LOUD! and i can't figure out what to do now. i have two weeks before gun season opens again.. what do i do???? i don't want to freeze, but i know i can't get something without giving something up... and when the wind dies down the forest is dead quiet, and i know deer can hear this crap.. especially from 20, 30, and 40 yards away.. some help is really needed/appreciated.. thakns guys

Try heavy fleece or wool. It makes virtually no noise, if it starts raining or you get sweaty working to your stand it wicks away the sweat rather than soak you down before your stay in the stand.
I don't use that much in lines of heavy fleece, I like to layer more than anything. For those real cold days, I put my carhart jacket on in between some layers.

If it is just the fabric on the jacket that is noisy when it rubs against something, buy the next-larger-size cotton camo summer shirt to wear over the coat. This should quiet the coat a bit without breaking your wallet.
