Very true HH, wasn't really thinking about it that way, makes total sense.

I guess that means we need to get out and talk to the people in the middle before the anti's do. Guess know one wants to do that, guess we will just keep bashing Nuge untill he doesn't use the SHOCK FACTOR anymore.:D

I don't know what to think about this. Isn't it customary in our Western European culture to kill an animal before we start to eat it?

I don't see any profit for us in allowing people to believe that meat grows on a bush somewhere already wrapped in little shrink wrap packages.Should we keep on with this "sensitivity" approach to the feelings of people who want to believe that no animals are harmed in the production of meat? If we do, I believe we are creating an environmentin whichthose "sensitive" folks are going to decide that what we do, that is hunt, is just too cruel to allow us to continue.
I couldn't agree any more. I'm more psyched than ever to push for Uncle Ted. I respect him as an individual, and he has done more to advocate our rights as hunters more than anyone.

I'm in agreement that as Americans we are becoming way too soft. The problem is that we think a lot of the material out there has way too much gore, blood, guts. I think that as hunters we should be able to defend our rights, and I don't think anybody fights for our rights more than Uncle Ted. I couldn't disagree more that Ted bought his way into his seat at the NRA. I firmly FIRMLY believe that he has done so much for our sport, for our rights that he SHOULD hold that post. I couldn't be happier that we have a guy like him out there defending our rights as sportsmen. I'm all for Uncle Ted and his cause to show sportsmen the cold hard reality. There's nothing wrong with what we're doing. There's absolutely nothing wrong with what he's doing. In my eyes he's the guy that I look up to.

Yeah, I probably wouldn't express myself the same way Nugent does, but doggonit, the meat we eat was once a living, breathing critter. I just can't bring myself to believe that it's wrong to kill it, cook it someway, and eat it. And if some folks get upset at the killing part of the deal, well I think they just have to face up to the reality. For cryin' out loud people, Mama Nature doesn't give us our meat in a nice little shrink wrap package.

Why do they call you The Bounty Hunter then?

I doubt Ted knows you. He knows me though. Probly because we are almost exactly the same people except the way we look but everythng else is the same the way we think and do things. Im just somebody no one has ever heard of though. that well change I becom a modrator on Nugent borad because people will see how much Ted and me think alike.

I'm going out on a limb, here......but I think vortecman might be Rob/Pa's alter-ego from a parallel universe. Kinda.....the "Anit-Rob". They both appeared/disappeared simultaneously (that's....."at the same time" for those of you from Rio Linda).

I could be wrong, too......I'm just sayin.....:D

I'm also COMPLETELY kidding....so nobodyblow a gasket!
