You wont be disappointed with the Ultratec and xt2000 limbs. I have the command cams and I'm not ready to replace them with the cam 1/2 yet.

Hoyt New Bows are old Martin risors design, that is tec risor. Cam is copy of dartons. Imagine bow manufactures using anothers idea. It happens so if you like it than buy it and shoot it. Im sticking to my Legacy for long while but never know what I might shoot in 3d competion. Might check out those Botechs!

Go ahead. Try a Hoyt.

Others have.

You'll become impotent.

You're hair will fall out.

You'll be the butt of cruel jokes at all the parties.

You're breath will be so bad, the EPA will condemn your air space.

Your cars will rust.

Your dog will leave you.

Ed McMahon will remove you from his mailing list.

You'll suffer from insomnia.

You will languish in a pool of medicority at the 3d shoots.

You'll develop Tourette Syndrome at the indoor shoots.

Pain and infirmity will be your constant companion.

You'll die penniless and unknown.

You own a Legacy and a Q2. Nirvana is yours.

Do not tempt fate.

J-Bird, ya didn`t work hard enough! Ya did not convince me that one cams were superior to twins, I just shot them cause thats what they tell ya to shoot!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Now, here is a legitimate question for you....you really don`t like the new cam.5(twin)as well or better than a single?

OKBWHTR,
It may very well be that what you say is true, but this is only my second year of bowhunting, and having never experienced the equipment you refer to, it new to me.

VC,
It may be a comprimise to you, but compared to what I was shooting, it's like moving from the KittyHawk biplane to the Stealth fighter jet.

KEEP IT LEGAL. KEEP IT SAFE. OR WE MAY NOT GET TO KEEP IT AT ALL.

The Cam and a Half system is not a dual cam system. By definition a dual cam has to have two identical cams...hence the term &quot;dual cam&quot;. The Cam and a Half is trully a hybrid.

Todd,

Though most of your questions have been answered, let me add my two cents...

1. Yes. Though it has been in development for the past 3 years.

2. The Spiral cam is faster because it has a stiffer draw force curve. It rises to its peak draw weight faster and has a much shorter valley. It is also only offered with an adjustable draw stop that goes from 55% to 65% letoff. The normal Cam and a Half is offered in either 65% or 75% letoff. This is determined with the use of different draw length modules.

3. The XT2000 limbs are multilayer, carbon/glass split limbs. They are not solid limbs like those found on Mathews, Parker, Bowtech, etc.. If you meant &quot;solid&quot; as in reliable, consistant, etc... then, yes, I would agree....they are. I have owned several bows from the Hoyt lineup over the last three production years that the XT2000 limbs have been used and I have never had a problem with them nor have I heard of any of them being brought back for repair or replacement.

4. The Ultratec is probably the better combo bow (3D and hunting) but I prefer the Cybertec overall.

J-Bird,

Can you suggest a compound bow greater than 42&quot; A-A with a single cam that I can shoot with fingers?
