Yeah, I fell once. I was setting up my homemade stands, and I could not get the strap around the tree( it was too big). So I leaned against a branch to reach it, and snap. I fell about 15 feet to the ground and landed on my side. Lucky for me it had just snowed about 2 inches and I was alright.

OK, that one made me wince.

i have never fell from my treestand and hope that i dont. But i do not wear a body harness and i know i should. The bad thing is that i am scared of heights. So i think i am going to start wearing on this year.

yes i fell this year on oct 23 off a ladder stand 15ft first time in about 30yrs of hunting from trees and it was a bad one.there was a light drizzle i got up in the stand and then decided i wanted to sit in my other stand so being in a hurry i started to climb down with my bow in my hand all i remember is hitting the ground hard i was very dazed when i came too and started to move i could hear and feel bone crumbling around in my lower leg and ankle i knew then this was bad i was about a half mile from my truck i screamed for help many times but no response.so yes i had to crawl all the way to my truck it was hell.i called my wife from the cell in my truck and the way i went to emergency.in the hospital 10 days 2 surgerys i am still off work 2 rods and 15 screws in my lower leg.this will tell me never say it cant happen to me..
