Using ariel photos
#1
The property I'll be hunting next fall. The owner has ariel photos taken every spring before things grow up. Has anyone ever used these photos? If so what would be the things to look for.

If there is still snow on the ground when the pictures are taken, you will be amazed at how the deer trails stick out like a sore thumb. As posted above look for Funnels, and bottle necks, but also look for multiple trails come in into an intersection, And trails going from feeding areas and tapering down to nothing in bedding areas. Just use some common scents when reading your photos, you can do alot of pre season scouting with minimal boot time in the woods with good photos. Use them to plan approach to stand, by wind direction, for low impact on deer. You'll see when you get your hands on some, their just like a Kids puzzle, all the pieces are there, you just got to make them fit!!!
