That almost happened to me today. Luckily it only broke the nock off.

I know you already know this so I hope I'm just preaching to the choir, but,Ihope you really checked the end of your arrow for any damageafter you hit the nock and broke it. I clipped one once with a broadhead, thus leaving a small crack in the end of the arrow. I believe if I hadn't found the crack the arrow would have exploded on me andI'd have spent the afternoon in the emergency room. I've heard some real horror stories and seen photos of what can happen when an arrow explodes.
Oh, by the way, it's kinda neat to split an arrow , makes a real cool sound. Then you hear that "cha-ching" sound of the cash register when you realize just what you've done.

I shot 1000+ shots through my Switchback.......NO robinhoods. I've had 2 with my Allegiance in less than a month.....and I'll consider myself a true dumb $^#& if I ever have another one.

Well this year i have robin hooded over 10 arrows and get madder every time. But now i bought 3 new targets to shot at different targets so i dont waste any more arrows.
