It's all in the camera angle

No matter what it is next to, your buck is an absolute monster. Congrats again on a super trophy. How's he eat? Tough?

Pretty good!!! I cooked the backstraps for my co-workers here at work on the grill. They all loved it.

He had just over 15 pounds of backstraps. I had all hamburger made besides the steak and loins.

I quit making roasts also. Ifinally figured outthat old deer don't make good roasts (at least the way I cook them), so it is all burger and steaks for me with just a little cut up for stew. Now a 1.5 year old doe... that's another story.
